Ryan McCombe is one of New York City’s most exciting multi-instrumentalist Celtic musicians on the scene today. Raised in Yonkers, NY, Ryan absorbed Irish and Irish American music through the thriving New York Trad Scene, rising through the ranks as a Champion step dancer. Now a sought-after singer and guitarist on the New York City circuit, Ryan’s debut EP - My Side of the Ocean - is a modern take on classic Irish diaspora songs with a dancer’s lift and energy, featuring guest appearances from some of North America’s best trad musicians.

Larry Kirwan of Black47 called Ryan “a real triple threat,” and iIrish News Magazine calls the album “a Top Shelf Selection. …there’s no reason not to fall in love.” Ryan’s music has been played on SiriusXM’s Celtic Crush, and WFUV’s legendary Ceol na nGael.

When he’s not playing tunes & singing, Ryan can be found adjudicating dancing or playing music all over North America for the Irish Dance circuit.
